Installation of the steel structure of the bridge deck and pylons of a 3-area steel and concrete suspended bridge with the total bridge length of 170 m and individual spans of 37.8 + 94.5 + 37.8 m. The pylons in the shape of the letter "V" were erected above the middle supports of the bridge at about 18 m above the deck and were made of reinforced concrete coupled with an elliptical cross section. The steel orthotropic bridge with two main girders is suspended on fan-shaped hinges (the so-called semi-harp system). Assembly took place with the help of truck cranes on suitably placed assembly supports built in the bed of the river Váh. In addition to pedestrians and cyclists, the footbridge also serves passenger cars up to 3.5 tons.
